Fiesta Musical: Sunday Sept. 20, National Zoo, NW Washington DC
Sept. 20, 2009. 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Enjoy a celebration of Latin American culture and wildlife through a variety of family-oriented activities, live music and dance, special keeper talks, and a Latin American food court.
Fiesta DC: Sunday Sept. 27, 14th St. Columbia Heights NW, Washington DC
This event has been a tradition in the nation's capital since 1971. It's main purpose is to preserve, disseminate, and promote the Latino culture and heritage in Washington Metropolitan area. This year is the celebration of the 38th festival. Location will be along 14th Street in the Columbia Heights area from 11 am to 7 pm.
